    tense ur pelvic floor.. if ur not an athlete u wont know how.. so… just like when u do any workout.. contract ur abs when doing it.. pretty much tense ur abs while doin it and u will defs feel it..

    i have exactly the same issue. have done for years. toned 4 top bars. square flat mass for bottom 4. i think it shows a healthy fat percentage. I was told a long time ago that 11% is ideal fat on body. To show bottom 4 you have to under that %. Which basically means you’re dehydrated and primed for competition for whichever sport. So if you really want it. I’d hit the treadmill and do some elevated V-sits. Peace.

    Okay, soooo I suppose I’m using my legs because I don’t feel my lower abs burning. How do I use my lower abs then? Or is there an alternative exercise where I can’t possibly get away with using my legs to lift up?

    it does work your lower abs, if you listen to what he says and do it correctly. you have to contract your abs and tilt your pelvis up. THAT is what works your abs.

    It’s so true that too many people neglect the lower ab area which really needs to be part of any six pack routine. Too often these folk end up with great upper abdominals but a not so great lower abdominal area.
